Job Description
General Summary:
- This position is responsible for providing leadership to custodial staff during shift, including scheduling, training, implementing improvements; position will also clean and sanitizes as scheduled/needed to ensure that facility is kept in clean and orderly condition.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that all equipment is scheduled to best effect and makes work assignments accordingly.
Forecasts and schedules overtime as needed.
Maintain inventory and ordering of all cleaning chemicals and janitorial materials ensuring they are ready and available for use when needed.
Maintains all schedule performance and tracking information for their area of responsibility and shift.
Regularly provides feedback in their area of responsibility to appropriate management.
Train & cross-train employees in custodial procedures, equipment usage, chemical usage, and safety requirements.
Provides recommendations for and implements custodial process improvements.
Effectively leads a team of co-workers in day-to-day work operations.
Check & Inspection of all cleaning chemical bottles for proper labeling.
Performs time studies on the various custodial job functions.
Creates work standards for the various custodial work areas.
Provides recommendations for various custodial equipment or chemicals.
Performs other custodial functions as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of a High School Degree / GED
Minimum 3 years of custodial experience
Valid driver’s license
Strong Communication Skills with the ability to communicate effectively internally with all levels of the organization, and externally to maintain and exceed the positive reputation of Bosch with city service providers.
Strong knowledge of all aspects of custodial work, including equipment usage and use of safety requirements of cleaning chemicals
Ability to train co-workers on equipment usage, chemical usage, and safety requirements
Ability to train co-workers of locations, frequencies, and procedures for emptying different types of containers
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to think quickly and react with a strong sense of urgency to resolve issues
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work voluntary, mandatory and on call overtime, which may include weekends and holidays.
Ability to work at heights

Noise Level- DBA 70-105
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $23 - $29 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
