Description

We are in search of a Sr. Internal Auditor to join a world class, growing company in Overland Park. In this role, you will mainly focus on corporate internal audits, data analytics, and utilizing Workday software. Responsibilities:

• Conducting internal audits in line with company policies and regulations

• Utilizing data analytics to assess risks, detect anomalies, and recommend improvements

• Using Workday software for efficient and accurate auditing processes

• Collaborating with other team members to ensure compliance and operational efficiency

• Reviewing and auditing sales contracts, financial reports, and other relevant documents

• Supporting business operations through constructive audits and risk assessments

• Assisting in the preparation and presentation of audit findings to the management

• Continually updating knowledge of industry trends and changes in audit regulations

• Providing recommendations to improve the efficiency of the company's internal controls and processes

• Participating in special projects and investigations as required by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in either public accounting, industry, or a mix of both

• Proficiency in Corporate Internal Audit

• Strong skills in Data Analytics

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
