The Opportunity

The Sales Tax Associate is responsible for sales tax compliance, annual reports, and business licenses. Works under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Reporting:

• Assists with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales and Use tax returns.

• Assists in filing of annual reports and business licenses.

Dispute & Resolutions:

• Assist with documentation for tax inquiries and exams.

Process Improvement

• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement.

Primary Internal Clients:

• Primary internal clients are finance managers and/or finance supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically two years of experience or Bachelor's degree in relevant field. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

• Microsoft Office Suite, Basic
