Nature of Work
The Learning & Development Manage r is responsible for supporting the business by developing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for employees across the organization. This position will report to the Director of Learning & Organizational Development.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and promote corporate education programs.
- Conduct education needs analyses and work with leaders around the organization to deliver content.
- Conduct training both live in classrooms across the organization, as well as virtually online through Webex.
- Monitor organizational growth and keep training relevant to the company\'s needs.
- Oversee design, implementation, and new training development as needed.
- Review training products for accuracy and quality and update as needed.
- Measure training efficiency through surveys, employee interviews, and tie training efforts back to business performance.
- Employ continuous improvement to improve the quality, accuracy, and delivery of training.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Conducts actions in a professional and unbiased manner.
- Complies with all company and site policies and best practice standards.
- Continuously develops proficiency and understanding in the role.
- Maintains a professional appearance and workspace.
- Participates in and complies with all company safety and quality programs and procedures.
- Utilizes relevant company technology to support all assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong project management, analytical and communication skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while learning new technologies quickly
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
- Communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to understand and implement best practice standards
- Experience in corporate human resource and/or learning & development environments
- Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
- Ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively
- Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail
- Ability to connect with leaders and stakeholders around the organization at all levels

Education
- Relevant experience will be considered
Experience
- 6+ years or more of related work experience required (Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related fields involving facilitation and training)
- Construction Industry experience preferred but not required
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- May require periods of overnight travel
- Normal office environment
- Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
- Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Reaching above Shoulder
