THE OPPORTUNITY

The Director, Product Marketing will play a fundamental role in developing and maturing how we connect our story to the market. At TechInsights, you’ll work with our sales and marketing departments, along with expert analysts in manufacturing and end-market spaces of the semiconductor sector, to explain the value of our portfolio and bring our products to market.

Reporting to the MD, Market Analysis, you will own sales enablement and our go-to-market strategy across all products and services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Define and execute our Product Marketing discipline

  • Enable Sales

  • Support them with appropriate tools and training

  • Help them scale by developing and cross-pollenating expertise around qualification and communication of value

  • Act as their advocate within the Product organization

  • Understand, document, and improve the sales process

  • Amplify Product Management

  • Work with Product Managers to refine product positioning

  • Help define the personas involved in buying and using our products

  • Formalize best practices in identifying and leveraging the Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM)

  • Support Marketing

  • Collaborate in developing a Marketing Plan

  • Coordinate on outreach activities, events, and similar

  • Plan for revenue retention and growth

  • Launch products and services

  • Act as the ultimate Product-side owner for all externally-visible product/service content

  • Manage the Product Marketing team

  • Coordinate with Product Managers to complete Product Marketing deliverables

  • Organize, mentor, and grow the team

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 10+ years of Product Marketing and Product Management experience

  • Undergraduate degree in a field related to high-technology (computer science, engineering) or relevant work experience

  • MBA or graduate business degree desired but not mandatory

  • Proven success in driving revenue, working with Sales, and working with Marketing

  • Ability to effectively work with clients and internal teams to distill feedback and drive consensus

  • High level of comfort presenting in front of groups and C-level audience

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives independently

  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry, and/or technologies and concepts related to Intellectual Property, IoT, automotive, consumer electronics, and mobile are assets
