Role: Junior Business Development Executive

Location: 2 days in the Manchester or Birmingham office per week - hybrid

Role Purpose: To support with sales efficiency by working mass market, high volume leads for FM Sector, Fire Risk Assessments & Electrical, supporting a fast turnaround from lead to quote.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops lead opportunities presented by marketing or FM inbox through following sales process.

  • Contacts leads within 24 hours and continue to call until loss or converted to an opportunity.

  • Understands clients’ needs through Teams meetings or phone calls, to then present a proposal within 48 hours with a view to win the work.

  • Ensures a good level of client satisfaction.

  • Uses the CRM system to create opportunities, manage pipeline through close dates & probability factors.

  • Tracks all activity through the CRM system, recording what has happened as well as future activities.

  • Outbound cold calling & as well as managing inbound calls to the Sales Switchboard line.

  • Support in other activities to build the pipeline and support new sales results e.g. calling cross-sell leads.

  • Attend Team meetings for Calling Days, Communication, Training and weekly set-ups.

  • Client interaction through Teams and phone calls
