A R&D Engineer is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Maple Grove, MN area. This role involves developing and refining innovative products, materials, and processes with minimal supervision, managing complex engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional teams.

responsibilities:

• Generates innovative solutions to market needs and submits idea disclosures.

• Develops or refines products, processes, or equipment.

• Selects techniques to solve complex problems and makes sound design recommendations.

• Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from complex test results.

• Prepares complex reports to communicate technical results.

• Designs and coordinates complex engineering tests and experiments.

• Manages and documents project goals and progress, recommending revisions as needed.

• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of engineering tests, products, or equipment.

Education and Experience:

• 5-8 years with a BS degree,

• 3-6 years with an MS degree,

• 0-3 years with a PhD.
