A Process Development Engineer is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Maple Grove, MN area. This role involves leading process development and commercialization of new medical device technologies by collaborating cross-functionally, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with quality systems in a fast-paced, global environment.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop robust designs and processes.

• Assess process capabilities and prioritize process improvement opportunities.

• Innovate and implement process improvements using technical expertise.

• Design and develop processes, procedures, tooling, and/or automated equipment.

• Write clear and concise manufacturing work instructions.

• Author technical reports, validations, and qualifications based on experimental results.

• Develop and execute validation protocols for new processes.

• Perform experiments, analyze data using statistical methods, and report findings.

• Ensure proper documentation to meet quality system requirements (e.g., BOMs, Routers, Process Risk Analysis).

Desired Skills:

• Highly motivated, able to independently drive deliverables.

• Basic understanding of DFM, medical device design control, quality systems, and product development (PLCP).

• strong statistics background.

• Experience with MINITAB is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• BS in an Engineering field.

• 2-5 years of experience.
