Wellfield Maintenance Technician

Are you ready to dive into the heart of uranium production and make a real impact? As part of our team, you'll be responsible for operating state-of-the-art truck-mounted pulling units (Smeal and Pulstar models) at our ISR mine. But that's just the beginning!

Your Role:

  • Master of Operations: Drive the operation of pulling units to service uranium production and injection wells, ensuring seamless daily maintenance of wellfield components.

  • Jack-of-All-Trades: From installing submersible pumps to conducting chemical treatments, your tasks will be diverse and stimulating.

  • Safety Champion: Uphold a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance in every task you undertake.

  • Adaptable Team Player: Be prepared for anything, as your role may encompass various tasks beyond the ordinary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Thrilling Tasks: Safely operate pulling units and support equipment, diving into tasks like repairing well casing and conducting swabbing operations.

  • Maintenance Maestro: Keep pulling units and associated equipment in top-notch condition, with minor repairs and upkeep as needed.

  • Problem Solver: Tackle challenges head-on, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Environmental Steward: Participate actively in chemical treatments aimed at improving flow and production while safeguarding our natural surroundings.

Qualifications:

  • Drive and Determination: Hold a valid driver's license and an insatiable appetite for learning and following procedures.

  • Team Spirit: Work effectively with minimal supervision and communicate like a pro with your colleagues and supervisors.

  • Skills Galore: Show off your knack for basic math, reading, and writing, coupled with experience in pulling units or similar activities.

  • Innovative Thinker: Bring your problem-solving prowess to the table, ready to troubleshoot and correct equipment malfunctions on the fly.

What You Bring:

  • Educational Edge: A high school diploma, plus hands-on experience in pulling units or similar fields.

  • Language & Logic: Master the art of reading instructions, writing records, and applying common-sense reasoning to tasks.

  • Safety First: Hold a Class "C" driver's license and embody our commitment to industrial and radiation safety policies.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
