Insight Global Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Oshawa, Ontario

Job Description

Role Overview:

  Develop manufacturing processes, equipment/tooling alternatives, sequence, and flow of operations.

  Minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities:

  Define manufacturing processes.

  Design, construct, integrate, install, launch, and improve equipment and tools.

  Consider human factors and ensure efficient material flow.

  Develop and test advanced process technology.

  Enhance technical knowledge in process engineering and Lean principles.

  Build relationships to solve problems and resolve issues.

  Manage major projects with full autonomy and accountability.

  Demonstrate strong project management skills.

Skills and Requirements

Required Skills:

  Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

  7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.

  3+ years managing major projects and new product launches.

  3+ years providing technical direction and leadership.

  Willingness to travel extensively.

  High problem-solving and issue resolution aptitude.

  Knowledge of automated processes.

  Ability to lead work groups and manage projects.

Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

  Specific need for an automated robots system (robotic foremen).

  Process new system, design, integration in the US, package, and plant installation.

  Travel to Michigan (Kuka Livonia) from Feb. 2025 to mid-Aug. 2025.

  Travel Monday to Friday, driving from Oshawa. null
