L'Ingegnere di Produzione sarà responsabile della progettazione, sviluppo e implementazione dei processi, delle attrezzature e dei sistemi di produzione per ottimizzare l'efficienza produttiva, mantenendo un'attenzione costante su soluzioni economicamente vantaggiose, garantendo risultati di alta qualità del prodotto e abilitando la progettazione per la producibilità nei nuovi design. Fornirà orientamento e supporto per risolvere problemi tecnici complessi che sorgono durante la produzione. Coordinerà la transizione e l'installazione ordinata di nuovi processi e/o metodi in conformità con le specifiche del prodotto, adottando un approccio Lean Manufacturing.

Ruoli e Responsabilità

  • Coordinare l'avvio della produzione per nuovi o rivisitati prodotti

  • Creare distinte base (BOM) e routing per i numeri di parte appena rilasciati e revisionare le distinte base e i routing quando i processi vengono aggiornati e/o gli sforzi di Lean Manufacturing migliorano l'efficienza delle fasi produttive

  • Progettare e sviluppare processi di produzione, attrezzature e sistemi a livello di stabilimento per migliorare la capacità del processo, la qualità e la prontezza produttiva

  • Progettare, sviluppare, testare, fornire e giustificare i costi di vari strumenti, macchinari e attrezzature per nuovi o migliorati metodi di produzione

  • Identificare e sviluppare soluzioni collaborative per problemi nel flusso di produzione come carichi di lavoro discontinui, colli di bottiglia della produzione, affidabilità delle macchine, sprechi generali nel flusso di lavoro produttivo

  • Prendere decisioni chiave, risolvere problemi e supervisionare progetti per garantire il successo della produzione

  • Preparare o dirigere la preparazione del layout delle strutture e/o attrezzature in CAD Engineering

  • Fornire supporto tecnico per le attività produttive

  • Raccomandare e implementare miglioramenti nei processi produttivi, metodi e controlli

  • Supportare il processo di preventivazione e gestione degli ordini fornendo informazioni pertinenti quando richiesto

  • Scrivere procedure e rapporti

Esperienza e Formazione

  • Laurea in Ingegneria, preferibilmente in Ingegneria della Produzione

  • Minimo 3 anni di esperienza in un ambiente produttivo

  • Esperienza in Lean Manufacturing o certificazione Lean Green Belt/Black Belt è un vantaggio

  • Preferibile conoscenza della progettazione di macchine, processi di saldatura e processi speciali (rivestimento, rettifica, produzione di elastomeri, verniciatura, incollaggio, ecc.)

  • Forti capacità di leadership, spirito di iniziativa, innovazione e capacità di lavorare con poca o nessuna supervisione

  • Preferibile competenza nell'uso della suite MS Office, Excel, e AutoCAD (non obbligatoria)

  • Comprensione di GD+T e dimensionamento

  • Competenza nella lingua inglese

Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment and systems to enable optimized production efficiency while maintaining focus on cost efficient solutions, sustaining high quality product results, and enabling design for manufacturability in new designs. Provide guidance and support for solving complex technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Coordinate the orderly transition and installation of new processes and/or methods in accordance with product specifications with a Lean Manufacturing approach.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises

QUALITY

  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System

  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement

OPERATIONS

  • Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products

  • Create BOMs and routings for newly released Part Numbers and revise BOMs and routings when processes are updated and/or Lean Manufacturing efforts create increased efficiency of the manufacturing steps

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems at the plant level to improve process capability, quality and manufacturing readiness

  • Design, develop, test, source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for new or improved manufacturing methods

  • Identify and develop collaborative solutions for issues within the production workflow such as level loading, production bottlenecks, machine reliability, general production related work flow waste

  • Make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape manufacturing success

  • Prepare or direct the preparation of Model facility and/or equipment layout and detail drawings in CAD Engineering software

  • Providing technical guidance for manufacturing activities

  • Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls

  • Support the Quoting process and Order Management process by supplying pertinent information as required

  • Write procedures and reports

COMMUNICATION

  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external

  • Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports

  • Collaborate with Engineering department in order to ensure all items (upper level and sub levels) of BOM is entered into Windchill.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Category Management and Manufacturing to simulate and assign the manufacturing COGS to parts/product, ensuring accuracy before finalizing.

  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop, innovate and implement manufacturing technology best practices.

FINANCIAL

  • All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses

  • Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure

  • Prepare feasibility studies and thorough cost justification for projects

  • Monitor production output and collaborate to implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering is preference

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Lean Manufacturing experience or Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certification is advantageous

  • Knowledge of machine design, welding processes and special processes (coating, grinding, elastomer mfg, painting, bonding, etc.) is preferrable

  • Strong team leadership skills, be a self-starter, innovative and able to work with little or no supervision

  • MS Office suite software, Excel proficiency, AutoCAD skills is preferred (not compulsory)

  • Understand GD+T and dimensioning

  • English proficiency
