Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst, Customer Logistics- Away From Home & Convenience Partners with AFH and C-Store customers to maximize supply chain process efficiencies while researching and resolving order and shipment discrepancies. Manage a daily process to analyze data to effectively monitor customer metrics through reporting and problem solving. Work with internal and external partners to meet customer needs. Make decisions in the best interest of both the customer and Smucker. This position requires an individual to be both highly personable to handle customer interaction, as well as detail-oriented and analytical to execute against goals. Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in office expectations In this role you will: Analyze Away From Home/Convenience EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders of finished goods daily for accurate pricing, ordering constraints, and sourcing locations to maximize the Supply Chain efficiencies of both the customer and Smucker. Review customer orders to resolve inventory availability issues at the Smucker DC (Distribution Center) and maximize order fill rates. Foster a strong partnership with key Away From Home & Convenience customers by adhering to customer driven initiatives, while identifying process improvement opportunities to benefit both companies. Collaborate with cross-functional parties to successfully execute against key sales initiatives by monitoring order patterns to ensure correct production plan and product deployment across the Smucker distribution network. Support pulling and presenting monthly metrics for Sales and Leadership Teams Process SPINs for redistribution customers, research any errors within the process and execute corrective actions for aged balances. Support warehousing and transportation cost reductions by following order lead times, while maintaining customer order cycle time goals to minimize inventory. Help research and resolve shipment discrepancy claims using warehouse shipping and receiving documents to improve invoice accuracy and aid in invoice deduction resolution. Maintain customer Supply Chain scorecard information to monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide the root cause and corrective action when goals are not met. Manage a combination of daily responsibilities and special projects to support current business activities and needs. Execute Sales & Broker trainings as needed. What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree At least 2 years of related business experience Excellent interpersonal skills to achieve effective communication (both written and verbal) with internal and external customers. Strong analytical skills to develop and support action plans for achieving customer goals. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Table, Formulas) Strong problem-solving skills needed in managing complex business situations. Ability to organize information and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in time sensitive situations based on customer needs. Ability to display indirect leadership across other functional areas to accomplish customer goals. Proficient computer skills, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
