JOB SUMMARY: The UAT Tester, Global Product Management facilitates the User Acceptance testing process for all functional releases. This role is responsible for managing User Acceptance testing for releases within the organization, as well as developing test scenarios with business stakeholders and product owners and evaluating functionality. The role requires a detailed understanding of the enterprise and the ability to write detailed test scenarios.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Scenario Creation
Work with Product Owners to understand the scope and business requirements of upcoming releases
Develop detailed test scenarios based off acceptance criteria and business requirements
Gather testing data and testing materials for upcoming releases if applicable
UAT Facilitation
Run in person and virtual UAT sessions with various stakeholder groups
Ensure environmental readiness for sessions
Instruct stakeholders through different testing scenarios and be knowledgeable enough to answer questions
Cross Team Collaboration
Work with Product teams to understand the business requirements and new functionality
Work with Release Train Engineers to coordinate upcoming releases
Work with Quality Engineering to coordinate testing efforts
Work with Finance Partners to coordinate testing efforts Work with various business stakeholder groups to facilitate testing and obtain acceptance where applicable
Scheduling and Coordination
Schedule UAT sessions with various business stakeholder groups
Knowledge of which different groups to engage for different releases/products and their points of contact
Reporting
Document test results and approvals
Record any bugs/defects found during the testing and report them back to the appropriate team
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required - Business, Technology
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years in Testing Role in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital Experience Design, Industrial Engineering, Technology, or related fields
Experience writing test scenarios
Experience with large scale transformation initiatives
Working in an agile technology delivery program
Experience supporting an operating environment, with a focus on ensuring that strategies are sound and viable from Business perspective
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
