Honeywell Sr Voice Sales Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Use your extensive subject matter expertise to influence customers and our partners toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultation, and you will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer/partner support, and training. You will foster cross-functional alignment to customer and partner needs. You will be consulting with prospective partners on product capability and assist their technical and development teams in the creation of their own Honeywell based software solutions. You will also provide valuable input for product development as well as assist the professional services team in the development of custom solutions for our tier one customers.

Key Responsibilities

Engage in customer-facing activities

Engage in partner-facing activities including development and technical sales support

Analyze product and training development needs

Consult with marketing on targeted product value propositions

Assist in the Design and Review proposal activities

Present technical sales briefings to customers and partners

Mentor partner technical resources on how to analyze proprietary software log files, stack traces as well as various related technology logs for root cause problem determination/resolution

Mentor partners to analyze code level problems in Python, Java, C#, and other scripting languages

Assist in the development and champion best-in-class sales training

Coordinate engineering support of pursuits


  • Bachelor's degree

  • A minimum of 3 years of Programming/Application Development experience

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in a customer facing role


  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships

  • In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies

  • Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Experience in providing training to technical personnel

  • Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers

  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages, preferably Java, C#, Python, Perl, and VB.

  • Knowledge of distribution logistics, maintenance, inspection, or health care facilities a plus
