Orlando company is looking for a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager. The company is looking for a Senior Accountant looking to make the jump to Accounting Manager. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following.

-- Performance of full cycle accounting functions.

-- Assisting with the monthly accounting close.

-- Managing the AP process and training staff to ensure day-to-day accounting activities are reflected accurately and timely in the general ledger.

-- Reviewing the AP aging and coordinating with staff to ensure proper and timely payment of Company liabilities.

-- Reviewing the capital expenditure process.

-- Reviewing employee purchase card entries to ensure proper coding and providing finance sign off.

-- Managing the AR process and training the staff and AR Specialist to ensure timely invoicing, collection of payments, and proper and timely applications of cash while maintaining positive customer relationships.

-- Reviewing the AR Aging on a daily/weekly basis with the AR team and collaborating with the sales division as needed.

-- Oversee the collecting, analyzing and presenting of customer information to the Controller to establish and review credit limits on new and existing customers.

-- Managing credit hold release decisions in the financial software within the delegation of authority.

-- Collaborating with the sales division to give visibility to exposure and minimizing bad debt loss.

-- Oversee the accuracy of customer pricing updates in the financial software system.

-- Reviewing account reconciliations and resolving reconciling items with accounting staff in a timely manner.

-- Preparing monthly financials and providing analysis to the Controller.

-- Assisting the Controller with the internal audit process and other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

-- Managing the AP and AR staff by reviewing work product, providing constructive feedback and performing annual performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience.

• Analytical problem solving skills.

• Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
