Jacobs Southeast Florida Project Controls Specialist in Orlando, Florida

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates for the role of Project Controls in the Orlando, FL office. Your portfolio will consist of a variety of Florida-based projects, supporting a talented team of project professionals.

This position may require 2 workdays per week in the Jacobs Orlando office (Optional)

The closing date for this EOI is EOB Tuesday, September, 6 2024.

Key responsibilities:

• Schedule, manage and prepare for monthly Project Review Process (OPRs)

• Assist project team with pricing proposals, setup of Pricing Tools and attend Pricing Reviews

• Support project teams with setup of CDRS, AutoPAP, IPCS and Polaris

• Review contract terms & conditions and apply project control principles to optimize financial outcome

• Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Project Teams members

• Setup, forecast and maintain project financials in our internal project controls system (IPCS)

• Complete monthly forecasting to ensure an accurate Estimate At Completion (EAC)

• Assist with Invoice review and vendor setups

• Interact with Project Managers, Operations Management, Accounting and PC Teams

• Update and maintain various project-specific reports as needed

• Attend and schedule monthly PM Reviews, OPRs and PARs reviews

• Complete and submit Review and RevRec Workflow within monthly deadlines

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Project Controls support role

• Strong working knowledge of Excel, CDRS, AutoPAP, IPCS and Polaris

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills required

• Ability to prioritize monthly work required

• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal direction or supervision

• Work expeditiously, and under time constraints required

• Very organized and detail-oriented

• Willingness to back-up other PC Team members when needed

• BA or BS, or related experience preferred
