Your Mission:

Connect Developers and Engineers to Supercomputing Capabilities and Optimize Multi-Level Security!

Join our High Performance Computing (HPC) team as a DevSecOps Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications and internal tools that connect developers and engineers to supercomputing capabilities! This role is essential for maximizing the multi-level security (MLS) user experience, streamlining efficiency, and ensuring high processing uptime. As a DevSecOps Engineer in our HPC team, you will:

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and scientists from multiple departments, to develop end-user applications and build scalable infrastructure.

•Foster a secure, efficient, and high-performance computing environment, ensuring seamless integration with various workflows.

•Leverage your passion for learning and growth to expand your skill set and make a significant impact on our groundbreaking HPC projects.

This position offers high customer engagement and opportunities to work with advanced technologies, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the future of computing.

How about Fridays off? (Well, typically anyway – this IS an IT role, ya know?) This role is scoped on a 4x10 schedule! All work must be performed on-site in our secure facility in Orlando, FL – and it may include some occasional off-shift hours, weekends, and limited travel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, and customers' acceptance.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+, or other IAT Level II/III security certification within 6 months of hire.

• Experience with version control such as Git.

• Experience with modern languages such as JS/Typescript, Python or Go.

• Experience with modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, SASS, SCSS.

• Experience with modern Front End web application frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.

• Experience with building and designing modern REST Application Programming Interfaces (API) and their specifications.

Desired Skills:

• Active Top Secret security clearance (investigation within the past 6 years).

• Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL or Rocky.

• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2, Singularity/Apptainer).

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Helm.

• Experience with databases such as SQL, Postgres or MySQL.

• Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.

• Understanding of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and integration of SSO with JWT, JWE, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and etc.

• Scripting ability to support system management such as with Python, Bash, PowerShell.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
