JOB SUMMARY:

Assist in the financial analysis and make recommendations for various divisions and business units. Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and work with management to develop annual budgets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops annual operating budgets by working closely with division Operating Manager and Finance Director. Performs detailed reviews/analysis on budget submission by comparing submittal against cost drivers and business conditions/expectations (call volume, etc.). Performs detailed review of Capital Project submissions from initial development through final approval.

• Performs in depth analytical analysis on division performance metrics such as trend analysis, cost/benefit analysis, results vs. cost drivers (did per cap increase when penetration increased?) and relationship to other variables (such as attendance; ticket mix). Compares variances/issues in the analysis (e.g. product penetration is higher this week) to other variables. Concludes on findings and makes insightful recommendations to management.

• Completes month-end close duties including report review and account reconciliation’s.

• Distributes, reviews, and processes invoices related to division operations. Researches vendor payment issues and makes recommendations for resolution.

• Prepares cost estimates for special projects.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

  EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.

  EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years cost accounting, financial analysis or business experience required.

• 3-5 years cost accounting, financial analysis or business experience preferred.

  CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• CPA preferred
