SUMMARY

Provide task management and review grant applications for their merit and score applications against Economic Development Administration (EDA) criteria and provide qualitative commentary justifying their evaluation scores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist EDA government staff with developing and implementing a strategy to engage non-selected applicants and provide feedback on their submitted applications.

• Provide individualized feedback for selected grantees.

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following fields: Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Economics, or a STEM degree

• Experience in fields of economic development, workforce, capital, entrepreneurship, and business management.

• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Leadership skills.

• Strong writing skills.

• Experience in Grant Application reviews.

• Experience in Project Management.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.
