As a Principal Architect, you will lead our Oracle CPQ implementations within a tightly integrated environment with other applications, including SAP. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, governance and guidance to development teams, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle CPQ platform, architecture, design, and development best practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead solution development and implementation for new systems and enhancements and participate in defining technical standards for the specialty area.

  • Follow Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.

  • Be responsible for all architectural design aspects within Oracle CPQ maintaining knowledge of new technologies within the Lead to Order process.

  • Review and give architecture, performance, and code quality standards compliance for configuration coding on the platform.

  • Support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes.

  • Formulate design and deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for Stryker systems, including writing specifications, developing architectural concepts like ERD and Data Flow diagrams.

  • Assess technological risks that could jeopardize the growth and/or operations of the organization.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Architect and design scalable, high-performance CPQ solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the platform.

  • Conduct code reviews, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

  • Define and implement integration strategies to connect Oracle CPQ with other systems and applications.

  • Stay updated on Oracle CPQ platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend best practices and optimize system performance.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development in Lead to Order technologies.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study.

  • 8+ years of Oracle CPQ professional experience is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in leading resources for projects required.

  • Experience working with executive business stakeholders along with proven experience of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning required.

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the Oracle CPQ architecture and major modules (configuration, processes, integration including add-on products) required.

  • End to end integration experience with major ERP required, SAP preferred.

  • Knowledge of and ability to drive IT methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile Development is preferred.

  • Experience with full Lead to Order process including deep understanding of Salesforce platform preferred.
