Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Planner Manager - Material Center in Orlando, Florida

Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Manager for the Material Center Team. Our team is responsible for production planning for all of Orlando site operations.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Planner Manager, you will be managing and staffing 6-10 direct report team members consisting of salaried exempt/non-exempt salaried and/or represented/non-represented hourly employees in the in management of shipping/receiving, transportation, warehousing, flow of material and the manufacturing support functions associated with Production Planning and Control.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.

• Managing subordinates in creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

Completed bachelors degree

Must be willing to work outside normal hours

Experience working in a union environment

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.

Demonstrated ability to manage subordinates in creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.

Related experience and/or knowledge in material handling, warehousing, shipping and receiving, DOT regulations

Experience supporting Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Desired Skills:

Green Belt Trained/Certified

Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SAR clearance

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Previous leadership experience managing direct reports, including supervisors, managers, and/or leads

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
