Knowledge Management Specialist - "W-TRS"

Job Description:

*Develops and implements policy and program guidance governing the implementation and management of Knowledge Management initiatives across the enterprise and within InSITE.

*Policies and guidance pertain to all aspects of this program, including knowledge creation, capture, sharing (collaboration), use and transfer.

*Determines the knowledge content; how it will be structured, shared, controlled, and made easily accessible for the program.

*Develops policy and processes for the capture of knowledge content across data sets provided by the program teams and ensures quality and compliance of products to include assessments.

*Through an understanding of needs of PEO STRI missions, processes, and procedures, recommends appropriate technologies to support current policies and practices and advises on opportunities presented by emerging technologies for improvement, such as more automated updates to the library content. *Responsible for the document management for the library, including configuration management of technical data packages and other device data and annual updates.

Education/Experience:

(2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The worker is primarily in an office environment. Programs will require travel to and working in outside environments at government locations from hot and dry to cold and humid. PPE required to mitigate environmental and safety hazards.
