NBC Universal Internship – Graphic Design, Sales Integration (Spring 2025) in Orlando, Florida

Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

    JOB SUMMARY:

The Design Intern will have the opportunity to create key visual elements for Business to Business Training on Universal Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort, and Universal Studios Hollywood. They will also be responsible for assisting our Youth Program team design presentations for audiences of various ages.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains project content organization.

  • Cross references content with brand book for consistency and accuracy.

  • Creates content pieces such as image resizing, presentation slides, etc.

  • Makes creative decisions on content layout and design.

  • Assists with and creates multiplatform content for Training and Youth needs.

  • Uses Adobe Premiere to showcase storytelling skills.

  • Uses Adobe Photoshop to create relevant and inviting training base on brand standards.

  • Brainstorms new ways to create and develop content.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.

  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.

  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.

  • An official transcript may be required upon request.

  • Preferred majors include: Graphic Design.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required.

  • Experience in PowerPoint and Keynote required.

  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

  • Consistent attendance.

  • This internship will be a hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.

  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2025.

  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
