Digital Design Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer with strong experience in FPGA design and verification, including hardware integration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FPGA development and validation, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, verify, and document Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) development.

• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.

• Analyze all aspects from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power utilization.

• Use specialized equipment to establish operation data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.

• Support circuit card designers with trade studies.

• Develop and release design requirement specifications for products.

• Debug and troubleshoot FPGA-related issues in a production environment.

  Top Skills (Must Haves):

• BS Degree with 8-10 years of experience OR MS Degree with 6-8 years of experience.

• Strong understanding and experience in FPGA design and verification.

• Familiarity with UVM and SystemVerilog.

• Experience integrating FPGA solutions on hardware and design validation, including simulation validation.

• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

  Secondary Skills (Nice to Haves):

• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.

• FPGA design using HDLCoder/SystemGenerator or High-Level Synthesis (HLS) design experience.
