Position Summary

Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of Benefits Specialist . If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please look at the list of qualifications below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of benefits data to ensure accuracy and completeness and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.

  • Review, reconcile, and process invoices from benefits vendors, insurance carriers, and other service providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.

  • Assist with benefits-related compliance activities, such as annual audits, reporting, and regulatory filings.

  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits systems accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with benefits providers, brokers, and vendors to resolve issues and ensure the smooth administration of benefits programs.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of benefits related communications, training, and educational materials for employees and managers.

  • Participate in benefits related projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the HR Team and organization.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in benefits administration, and make recommendations for updates or enhancements to our benefits programs.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, data analysis, or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with benefits administration software or HRIS systems is preferred.

  • Certification in benefits administration (e.g. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) is a plus.
