Hilton Assistant Banquet Set Up Manager - Hilton Orlando in Orlando, Florida
The Hilton Orlando (https://thehiltonorlando.com/), a vibrant resort hotel, in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive, and connected to the South side of the Orlando Orange County Convention Center by a covered walkwayis searching for anAssistant Banquet Set Up Manager to join their team!
This 1400 room property offers six dining outlets and seamlessly blends extensive leisure offerings with world class business amenities, and over 250,000 square feet of event space and more than 20 break out rooms.
The ideal candidate would have previous supervisor/management experience with the banquet setup, as well as a work history that includes leading/managing team for an establishment of similar size that sees similar volume and strong communication skills.
The start date for this role will be approximately January 2 nd , 2025.

Shift Pattern: This will be a PM shift role; however, full availability is needed including weekends, and holidays and some day shifts.
Salary : $63,000 / annually

What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Banquet Set Up Manager supports the Banquet Set Up Manager with hires, trains and directs the banquet staff in the planning and set up of all banquet space in order to ensure a successful function and repeat business.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Working with guests and hotel team members to ensure high quality and cleanliness standards of all meeting rooms and pre-function space.
- Supervises and conducts the set-up, break down, and service of all conference meeting rooms.
- Develops checklists and cleaning schedules to ensure proper cleanliness and maintenance of meeting space.
- Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates team.
