JOB SUMMARY:

Required to perform all preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing on all UO air compressors and air dryers; must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic; will be working by themselves most of the time but will need to interact with the customer/owner of the equipment

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform monthly & quarterly PM’s and inspections on all UO owned air compressors and air dryers. Enters follow-up work orders in UO’s CMMS Maximo for all discrepancies found.

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on all UO air compressors and air dryers and documents in UO’s CMMS Maximo system all findings and work performed through the troubleshooting and repair process.

• Requisition parts from storeroom or coordinator to ensure you have the material to perform PM’s and repairs.

• Perform other minor maintenance and repairs in the Auto Shop which can include forklift and high reach repairs and documents in UO’s CMMS Maximo system all findings and work performed through the troubleshooting and repair process.

• Complete all paperwork and reports labor correctly and on time in UO’s CMMS Maximo system.

• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

  EDUCATION:

• High school degree or GED is required.

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred.

  EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ Years air compressor/air dryer repair experience

• ; 1-2 years of fork truck/high reach repair preferred

• ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License
