NY1511361 Giotto Enterprises, with administrative offices in Oriskany NY, is has an immediate opening for an IT Systems Service Technician. Giotto Enterprises is the umbrella organization for seven affiliate companies including Fiber Instrument Sales, an industry leader in the fiber optic cable and component manufacturing.
Job Overview: The IT Systems Service Technician is responsible for providing and ensuring secure PC, desktop, network, telecom and related services throughout the organizations affiliate companies. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Oriskany, NY. Working hours are from 8:00am until 5:00pm daily, M-F.
Duties & Responsibilities Knowledge of Microsoft Servers. Knowledge of manageable switches with a fiber backbone. Experience with DNS and DHCP servers. Must have exceptional attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem resolution skills. Dependable, with strong work ethic.
Requirements Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field, AND at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with and supporting Microsoft and networking environments. Strong knowledge of current common infrastructure solutions and PC software products
Job Type: Full-time, In Person (Oriskany, NY) Monday to Friday (8 hr day shift)
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
