Employment Opportunity
The Orem Police Department is currently hiring for lateral entry Police Officers. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of routine and emergency police services including responding to calls for assistance from citizens and enforcing laws and ordinances.
Qualifications
- Utah POST certified as Law Enforcement Officer (LEO).
- 2 years LEO experience.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements established by the Police Department.
- No illegal drug use and/or convictions within the last 3 years.
TESTING PROCESS: Qualified applicants will be required to complete a PT test and participate in an interview panel as scheduled by the Police Department. For the PT test, applicants will be required to complete 35 sit-ups in 1 minute, 25 push-ups, a 16" vertical jump, and a 1.5 mile run in 15:54.
