Job Title:

Community Violation Inspector

Position Summary:

The Violation Inspector is responsible for conducting property inspections to identify and document community violations in compliance with the association's governing documents. Utilizing Vantaca software, the inspector will ensure violations are recorded, processed, and followed through according to company and community standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining community appearance and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine and scheduled property inspections to identify violations of community standards (e.g., landscaping, maintenance, parking).

  2. Document observations with detailed notes and photographs using Vantaca software.

  3. Ensure inspection routes are completed efficiently and within the specified timeframe.

  4. Violation Documentation:

  1. Accurately enter data and upload supporting documentation into Vantaca.

  2. Generate violation notices and ensure proper delivery to homeowners.

  3. Track and monitor compliance deadlines and escalate unresolved violations as needed.

  4. Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with community managers to address concerns and provide updates on compliance issues.

  2. Participate in meetings to discuss ongoing violations and recommend enforcement actions.

  3. Coordinate with vendors or contractors to address community maintenance concerns when necessary.

  4. Communication:

  1. Interact professionally with homeowners, answering questions related to violations and compliance.

  2. Educate homeowners on association rules and the importance of maintaining community standards.

  3. Reporting:

  1. Prepare and submit reports summarizing inspection findings, trends, and enforcement actions.

  2. Provide feedback on inspection processes and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in property inspections, HOA management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Vantaca software or similar management platforms is highly desirable.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in community association management is a plus.

  • Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Knowledge of HOA governing documents and community standards is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require walking or driving for extended periods during inspections.
