ORANGE - Dental Hygienist Who we are, and who we serve: The Community Health Center of Franklin County (CHCFC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable healthcare services to underserved communities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. Position Summary: The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive dental care to patients of all ages, including cleanings, screenings, and education. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving underserved populations and a passion for promoting oral health. Responsibilities: Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing Take and develop dental X-rays Apply fluoride treatments and sealants Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education Qualifications: Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene Current state dental hygiene license Excellent clinical skills and patient care abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in a community health center setting preferred Bilingual skills a plus Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Loan repayment assistance Opportunities for professional growth and development Meaningful work serving underserved populations CHCFC is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
