Accounts Payable Accounting Associate
Northwestern College has an opening for an accounts payable accounting associate at either ¾-time or full-time. This position is responsible for weekly accounts payable, specifically timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices for payment of college bills. Other responsibilities include facilitating the procurement card (p-card) system, assisting with the budget function of the college, and assisting the business office in report generation and record keeping to monitor the financial performance of the college.
Qualifications include:
Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
Some related experience in accounting is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and proficiency in Excel and Word.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to interface effectively and professionally with others.
