Front Office Medical Assistant

• Setting: HIV/STD Clinic

• Location: Santa Ana, CA

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (except holidays)

• Contract Length: 3 months (with strong possibility of extension!)

• Start date: ASAP

• Pay: $24/hour WEEKLY PAY!

Duties

• Calling and scheduling patients

• Working on referrals

• Navigating patients to a provider in the community within their insurance network

• Documenting in our electronic health record

• Enrolling patients into State programs

• Screening includes collecting sensitive information such as lab results and income

Requirements

• Must be able to speak/write/read in Spanish

• Knowledgeable in using MS Office applications (Outlook and Excel)

• Experience in using an EHR

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
