We are currently seeking an energetic, organized and creative for our Marketing Associate, Events role that will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of events throughout the year. Events include educational, entertainment, industry tradeshows and speaking opportunities. The role involves tactical execution on event themes, presentations, registration, materials, conferences, trade booths, etc. This key position will be responsible for managing both internal and external resources, following process and procedures to ensure successful event production and execution.

As a Marketing Associate, Events you will be proactive, have the ability to juggle multiple events at one time, highly detailed oriented, a creative thinker and proficient in planning, executing and managing all types of events.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manages all aspects of event coordination including, but not limited to, trade booth set up, trade booth requirements, collateral, speaker presentations, contract negotiation, site selection, coordination of attendee, speaker and sponsor registration, agenda scheduling, audio/visual set-up, communications and IT needs, food and beverage selection, staffing, onsite set-up and logistics.

  • Brings creative ideas for driving attendance by offering unusual and unique entertainment events for the business community.

  • Research and recommend great venues and activities.

  • Manage select onsite events including onsite setup, logistics, sponsor coordinator and registration

  • Manage sponsorship including serving as main sponsor contact, help create sponsorship materials, collect deliverables from sponsors, issue invoices, track invoices/payments, conduct pre-event sponsorship calls, etc.

  • Ability to work with multiple managers on multiple events at one time. Volume is essential. Some events will require little support and others will require major support.

  • Must be able to keep track of the small details and the larger needs at the same time.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in corporate event management or promotion management.

  • Individual must be highly detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and help to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Pro-active with strong organizational skills and proven track record of coordinating successful marketing or event programs.

  • Excellent communication skills with a willingness to share ideas and contribute to a collaborative effort.
