Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Job Description

in carpet manufacturing and yarn processing, with additional experience in material handling automation being highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell new equipment, spare parts, and service solutions to customers.

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and drive growth.

• Prepare and deliver both computer-based and physical product-based sales presentations.

• Cross sell and generate leads for other products.

• Provide technical expertise, support, and training to customers.

• Create, maintain, and share information on customers, the market, and the competition.

• Collaborate with European group partners and the US office to ensure seamless communication and alignment of sales strategies.

• Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote our products and services.

Essential Skills

• Experience in or extensive exposure to the carpet industry and yarn manufacturing.

• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and explain complex equipment and systems.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in machine sales, technical sales, maintenance, equipment installs, equipment sales, service technician roles.

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and work with heat set equipment, yarn processing, and robotics automation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with Salesforce and customer service skills.

Work Environment

This role involves manufacturing sales and requires travel to North Georgia, Aiken SC, Alabama, and Hillsville, VA. Most travel is daily, but occasional overnight stays may be required. There is also occasional travel to Europe for training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

• Salary plus commission
