Crown Communications, Incorporated Electronics Installation Technician in Ontario, California
Crown is hiring Full-Time Electronics Technicians to join our team of floating electronics installers. This position is 100% traveland will be assigned to a geographical part of the United States, likely in conjunction with FAA regional boundaries.Veterans are encoraged to apply.
This position requires a level of confidence to work in geographic isolation, so the candidate must have the technical knowledge and aptitude to create solutions in unique situations.
The Electronics Technician will receive technical advice from a Technical Manager and/or Engineer, however, the Tech will still be expected to work largely in a stand-alone capacity due to the nature of the work, and will need to be a de-facto on-site Electronic/Communications Subject matter Expert (SME).
Although each installation is unique, typical duties include:
- Conducting a pre-installation meeting
- Removal and disposal of existing communications equipment
- Coordinating frequency outages
- Installation of new radio racks and radios, along with other GFE
- Installation of new/upgraded conduit and cable trays
- Removal and replacement of antennas
- Installation of junction boxes
- Electronics testing procedures
- Other duties as assigned
