Responsibilities

The Contracts Coordinator will work with the Contract Analyst to collect necessary documentation needed to fully execute Provider contracts and Letter of Agreements (LOA) for the self-funded medical plan (EPO). The Contracts Coordinator will also be responsible for contract maintenance, Provider/Provider Group demographic changes, re-occurring roster and documentation verification as well as assisting with Provider communications as necessary. The position requires a high level of responsibility, confidentiality, judgment and discretion in applying department policies, procedures and handling confidential information. Must communicate effectively, in writing, verbally and via telephone. Will perform special projects as assigned by the Corporate Director of Employee Health (EPO) and the Director of Network Development & Provider Relations (EPO).

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. High School Graduate or GED.2. Working Knowledge of physician credentialing process, and strong follow-up skills.3. Knowledge of Managed Care contracts and the contracting process.4. Working knowledge of self-funded medical plans and/or Managed Care plans.5. Computer literate in Microsoft Office Windows & Excel.6. Ability to interact professionally with physicians and vendors.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Associate degree from an accredited institution.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $19.46 to $26.19. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
