The Department of Alumni Engagement at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for the position ofCoordinator of Affinity Programs and Reunion. Expectations include, but are not limited to, serving as the liaison and point of contact for SUNY Oneonta's annual Alumni Weekend, orchestrating the planning and implementation of alumni engagement programs for academic departments and affinity groups, and having student class advisory responsibilities.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Serves as the liaison and point of contact for SUNY Oneonta's annual Alumni Weekend including personally recruiting Alumni Weekend Ambassadors, planning meetings, and developing outreach and marketing strategies.
Coordinating the planning and implementation of alumni engagement programs for academic departments and affinity groups, including student groups, fraternities and sororities, alumni affinity groups, legacy families, and faculty and staff.
Fulfill senior class advisory responsibilities and will coordinate programs for seniors to help build class identity and celebrate the successful completion of their academic career at SUNY Oneonta.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Excellent written communication and presentation skills as evidenced in your application materials
Experience in event planning and implementation
Ability to travel that includes a valid driver's license
Availability to work evening and weekend hours
Preferred:
At least one year of experience working in higher education
Proficiency working as part of a team and in a service-oriented environment
Familiarity working with volunteers
Experience working with students
Background using social media networks
Ability to handle a variety of tasks concurrently with a broad range of stakeholders
Experience working with and serving diverse populations
