SUNY Oneonta Assistant Director of Facilities Finance in Oneonta, New York

The State University of New York at Oneonta is seeking an enthusiastic and engaged team member to join our team in Facilities Planning. The Assistant Director of Facilities Finance will oversee all fiscal matters related to facilities management at the University including both capital and operational programs. The Assistant Director will represent the Associate Vice President Facilities & Planning in fiscal matters. The Office of Facilities, Safety & Physical Plant is responsible for the maintenance and operations for the University's buildings and grounds and approximately 2.4 million square feet of space. The Office is also responsible for all capital planning and construction on campus. Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinating fiscal operations for the department, including procurement, capital projects and operational areas. Review of contract bid packages for accuracy and completeness, Recommending polices procedures and actions related to the department, Preparing establishing and managing capital project budgets and plans in coordination with the AVP Facilities, SUNY Oneonta Budget Office, the State University Construction Fund and the Dormitory Authority. Representing the AVP Facilities in fiscal matters Liaison with the Office of the State Comptroller on contract approval matters. Salary: $64,000-$68,000 commensurate with experience. Requirements:Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree Three years professional experience Computer literacy in Microsoft office products including Excel, Word and Outlook Effective written communication Additional: Three years budget management experience Demonstrated experience in project prioritization Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision Experience leveraging IT systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness Preferred: Master's degree in business administration or equivalent, Three years' experience working in a higher education setting. Experience working with and serving diverse populations.

Minimum Salary: 64,000 Maximum Salary: 68,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
