To learn more about us, visit: www.mathy.com. POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our innovative team! As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level support for the company\'s accounting and financial activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate weekly time entry from multiple divisional offices. Assist in weekly time entry for union paving divisions. Process payroll for multiple divisions. Analyze weekly payroll reports to confirm accuracy and completeness. Prepare and file payroll tax reports and documentation for multiple states. Payment of union dues, federal and state taxes, and all other associated withholdings. Manage and maintain employee records, including tax forms, garnishments, and other deductions. Assist in unemployment verification. File certified payroll reports with applicable state entities. Coordinate with Human Resources on new employee set-up, benefit elections, terminations, and overall changes impacting payroll. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of payroll processes and controls, which gain efficiencies in the payroll process, while ensuring adherence to all federal, state, local laws. Documentation of processes and procedures. This is a full-time hourly position located on-site in Onalaska, WI working Monday through Friday. Some overtime and travel may be required. Position Requirements Bachelor\'s degree and/or 1-2 years of demonstrated payroll experience, with a strong emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
