Empire Screen Printing has openings for Screen Makers FIRST SHIFT: Monday Thursday 4:55am 3:00pm SECOND SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 3:25pm - 1:30am ***\$2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift*** ABOUT EMPIRE SCREEN PRINTING: Empire is a family-owned, award-winning business that prides itself on using environmentally-friendly print methods. Empire is a full-service company in OEM and POP markets, producing overlays, vinyl decals, crystal-line domes, nameplates, magnets, and roll labels, using UV LED and UV screening, digital and flexographic printing. JOB SUMMARY: Screen makers produce screens of acceptable quality according to the pull. Screen makers follows the screen through several steps such as reclaiming, degreasing, coating, shooting, development, and inspection. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Makes good quality screens Reclaims and inspects screens to determine if re-usable Degreases new and used screens in preparation for coating Breaks down and prepares screens for stretching - stretches screens Develops exposed screens Meets the pull schedule Inspects screens for defects such as pin holes and blocks them out MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Must have excellent attendance and work well with others Work independently without continued support for others Must be able to read and comprehend job orders that provide specific details and instructions Must be detail-oriented Computer literate Positive attitude Must have a safety-conscious behavior Ability to lift up to 50lbs BENEFITS: Earned paid time off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401k with employer match Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Group Life Insurance Supplemental life insurance Referral program Incentive program Short and long-term disability Promote from within (opportunities to sign up for open positions in different departments/shifts) 4 ten-hour shifts a week Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts All job candidates should work with well others with minimum supervision, have a team-oriented mindset, the desire to learn/cross-train, attention to detail, have and maintain a positive attitude, and be able to problem-solve.
