Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are currently hiring a hybrid role for a Warehouse Associate/Field Technician Trainee to join our team in Omaha, NE! This role will be a blend of onsite and in-field activities, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the warehouse as well as assisting our field employees.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials, verify counts, sort and store stock, stage items for installation or shipment, and ensure accurate materials are ready for technicians.

• Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventory.

• Use software and equipment to track inventory, operate tools and machinery (e.g., box cutters, pallet jacks, forklifts), and maintain a clean and safe warehouse.

• Assist technicians with the installation and service of doors and related products, including operating tools, delivering parts/materials to job sites, and providing project support.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Support warehouse and field operations with additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation - 1+ year

• Technical ability - 2+ years

• Receiving - 6+ months

• Inventory management

• Material handling

• Order picking

• Shipping and receiving

• Warehouse inventory management

• Ability to safely lift 100 pounds

• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder

• Valid driver's license

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED

• 1 or more years of warehouse experience

• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required mechanical aptitude (preferred)

Work Environment

The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will need to wear steel-toed boots, jeans, and a clean work shirt. You will be working directly with Chris in a warehouse environment that requires safety and attention to detail.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
