Warehouse Associate - paying up to $20 depending on experience!

Job Description

General laborers will use an overhead crane to control the lifting, moving, and positioning of loads on the crane. They will observe and ensure that the load is safely attached and within the lifting limits. They will also keep the crane clean and well-maintained. Crane operators will be responsible for tracking inventory in their own bay. Customers will drive semis through the plant, and crane operators will load the bed of the truck with structural steel beams based on the order sheet.

Skills

• Experience operating equipment in a warehouse space (e.g., forklifts, electric pallet jacks)

• Prior experience operating an overhead crane

• Experience with other heavy equipment operating

Work Environment

This is not a temperature-controlled environment, but it is relatively clean for a metal distribution center. The temperature inside will reflect the outside temperature due to trucks driving in and out all day.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Team Size: 2-3 People

Dress Code: Steel-toed boots, jeans, and work shirt.
