TEKsystems Underwriting Associate in Omaha, Nebraska
TEKsystems is hiring an underwriting associate to join our clients team in Omaha! Looking for candidates with strong investigative skills, the ability to utilize the internet as a research tool, excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast paced team environment, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, and adaptability in a constantly changing environment, including changes to technology, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory conditions. This position will be onsite training but can move to a hybrid schedule once trained.
Description:
Daily Duties:
Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business
Perform independent verification of insured's operations
Review and process change requests on in-force policies
Evaluate in-force policies at renewal
Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
Participate in Training of Underwriter Analyst Trainees as needed
Assist with special projects as assigned
Hours: Monday - Friday starting time between 8:00am - 10:00am
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - prefer business related fields
Confirmed collegiate GPA of 2.75 or higher
Candidates must pass a Wonderlic test
Preference to candidates with:
Previous Financial Services experience or Insurance experience
Prior Underwriting experience - NOT mortgage underwriting experience
Previous Property & Casualty experience
