Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker

Job Description

Accurately and efficiently process outgoing packages based on customer requirements. Accurately monitor and receive all incoming shipments, checking for defective materials and discrepancies. Prepare and schedule pallets for shipping. Conduct cycle and monthly inventory counting. Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack. Assist in paper management and organization. Effectively communicate with other departments, carriers, and customers. Maintain a safe and clean workspace. Follow all established safety rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Shipping and Receiving - 2+ Years

• Warehouse Worker - 3+ Years

• Inventory control

• Rf scanner

• Sit down forklift

• Pallet jack

• Warehouse inventory

• Forklift certified

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 – 2 years Warehouse experience preferred, but will train right individual

• Forklift and Hazmat Certified training preferred, but will train right individual

• Must have good math skills including the ability to read a ruler

• Must be able to pass a basic math aptitude test

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
