Scantron Sales Account Executive in Omaha, Nebraska

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Account Executive identifies and develops new and existing customer relationships primarily in the Managed IT Services, Cloud Services, and CyberSecurity space in order to maximize the stated sales objective within a specified geographic area.  This position has a focus on selling technology to community banks and credit unions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and qualify opportunities in financial institutions for Secur-Serv services.

    • Initiate contact via telephone, written correspondence, and/or personal visits to begin the sales process
  • Prepare thorough, professional, and timely proposals to qualified prospects

  • Follow up as required to move prospects through the sales process

  • Manage existing client relationships ensuring that we are maximizing revenue retention and growth opportunities

  • Participate in sales training and sales meetings as necessary.

  • Attend banking industry trade shows and conferences, as necessary.  Meet all attendance requirements.

  • Develop relationships with financial industry professionals including bank auditors, consultants and technology vendors.

  • Update and maintain our sales database according to our established procedures.

  • Demonstrate good judgment regarding expense control. Use good judgment and care to maintain company assets in your possession.

  • These assets may include: vehicles, computers, price books as well as other company provides resources.

  • Work with all facets of the organization to help meet our defined corporate objectives. The other parts of the organization include: Accounting and Administration Operations Human Resources Sales and Marketing and Business Development.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Excellent organization and planning skills

  • Ability to travel overnight 1-2 days per month

  • Proven ability to build relationships

  • Prospecting consistency

  • Proven track record

  • Strategic thinker

  • Current valid driver’s license

     

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Experience selling to Credit Unions and Financial Institutions a plus

  • Ability and understanding of Managed IT Services a plus

  • Ability and understanding of CyberSecurity a plus

Territory - Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri (banking/FI accounts)

                Nebraska (commercial accounts)
