Restoration Technician

$18 - $22/hr | Omaha,NE

Looking for restoration techs to go into residential housing, identify how pests are getting in and out, and make repairs to stop the issue. This position does NOT require you to remove or handle pests. After getting started you will be tasked to go out to projects and learn to estimate and bid your own jobs.

Job Responsibilities

• Go into attics to check roof and siding entry points for bats and other animals

• Caulking and light carpentry on window soffits and foundations

• Once trained inspect jobs and let customer know what is needed to fix problem

• Example- If there is a bat problem they will need to understand how to identify all entry points and how to fix it (Caulking cracks and holes, installing boards and plywood to bigger access points, etc..), They will then get the customer's go ahead to complete the job after estimating how much it would cost for materials and labor.

• Work out of company truck once trained. Expected to keep clean vehicle

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general construction experience

• Hand/Power Tool Knowledge

• Customer Printability

• Willing to submit to post-offer, pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check

Work Environment

• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in attics, which can get hot and cold.

• Work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
