Job Title: Field Engineering Technician

Job Description

Field Engineering Technicians work with scientists and engineers on a variety of municipal solid waste landfill, groundwater well monitoring, and chemical/petroleum spill projects. Oversight includes scopes such as groundwater monitoring, landfill gas monitoring, landfill cap and liner construction quality assurance (CQA), vapor monitoring, field note preparation, and emergency spill response testing.

Work Site

This role will be heavily based in the field out of an office in Omaha.

Work Environment

Onsite environment in a large construction setting. Must be comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs and performing light labor, which includes lifting large pieces of pipe for testing. PPE will be required. The projects are challenging, varied, and interesting. Travel is usually within 100 miles of Omaha, with some overnight travel (approximately 25% and under). Per diem is $55 a day or $27 for a half day, and lodging will be paid for.
