Aerotek Diesel Technician - 4 Day Work Week - 40/HR in Omaha, Nebraska

Diesel Technician – 4 Day Work Week – Training Provided

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine work and body work. We are also willing to train and pay for the right individual to achieve their ASE Certification.

Hourly Rate: $30 - $40 per hour, based on experience and ASE Certification ($20 to $30 with no certs)

Shift: 6am – 6pm (Monday – Thursday)

Location: Council Bluffs, IA

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and vehicle issues

  • Conduct body work repairs and refinishing

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed

  • Adhere to safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with diesel engines

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in body work

  • ASE Certification is preferred; however, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate to obtain certification

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
