A leading company is looking for carpenters to join the team and help create an array of complex precast panels using shop drawings from our internal Engineering team. You will be building a wide variety of forms on a daily basis. Our carpenters are a vital key to our production process and take great pride in their work.

The company is looking for carpenters to start right away so they will provide a rapid interview process so you can start work as soon as possible!

Skills:

Utilize approved piece tickets to construct forms for specific precast concrete panels / Meet regularly with the carpenter foreman to discuss anticipated production sequences and potential form construction problems / Provide information to the carpenter foreman on the inventory status of all form-related material / Properly maintain tools and utilize appropriate safety guards / Manage carpentry workload for self / Maintain plant safety.

Location:

Omaha, NE

Pay / Shift:

Pay is based on experience

Shift: Monday – Friday (6 AM to 5 PM) with potential for up to 10 hours of overtime a week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of recent general carpentry experience / Minimum of two years working with finish carpentry products such as cabinetry and other forms of woodworking / Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures/specifications / Ability to read and understand construction drawings and piece tickets.

Work Environment:

Working in an enclosed environment / Totally indoors but can be cold in the winter and hot in the summers / Working with a team of 5-8 other people building the forms / Carpenter foreman oversees the carpenters and there is an overall plant supervisor / Required attire includes steel-toed boots, hard-hat, high-vis shirt, and long work pants.
